Akko Gin is made from 12 botanical components – all grown in the Galilee. All the ingredients are from Israeli. The most prominent plants in the mixture are cedar juniper, citrus, citron, raspberry, coriander, and olives.
Like all Julius products, Gin Akko is handmade, with small and meticulous refining cycles made with natural raw materials only.
Unlike most of the world’s gin brands, the base alcohol in this gin is refined from grapes and not from grains.

The Jullius Distillery was founded by Joov, a former media man, and alcohol restaurant critic, who decided to turn from a theorist into a man of action and produce alcohol himself. The distillery is today in Kibbutz Hanita, in front of an intoxicating view, where Joov produces grape grappa produced at the German refinery and also fruit schnapps such as mandarins, oranges, and citrons.
